REV Privacy Policy

Purpose
REV is a private, self-hosted portfolio research application used by its owner. It uses Google OAuth to access the owner's Gmail account in read-only mode.
Google user data
REV reads only messages selected by a narrow subject filter for structured research reports. Gmail access is used solely to import those reports into the owner's private research database. REV does not send, modify, or delete Gmail messages.
Storage and sharing
Imported report data and OAuth credentials are stored on the owner's private server. Google user data is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or shared with third parties.
Retention and deletion
Imported data is retained until the owner deletes it. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page, after which REV can no longer read Gmail data.
Security
REV uses encrypted HTTPS connections and restricts server access to the owner and the application services required to operate the system.
